- When a boat enters the Conquistador Resort Marina (CRM), it immediately comes under the jurisdiction of the resort’s Marina and Maritime Operations.

Only motor vessels in good condition and under their power shall be allowed to be moor to the docks.

In the event of an emergency, while the boat is docked and the owner is absent, the CRM is authorized to take necessary action to attempt to preserve the structural integrity of the vessel as much as possible and as economically as possible. These expenses will be charged to the vessel owner. In case of a vessel on fire, the CRM is authorized to take such measures to protect other boats and CRM’s property.

Boats leaving for an extended period of time will notify the CRM’s manager office. The management reserves the right to rent all docks when vacant, however, transient vessels will move for other vessels under seasonal contracts or on advance reservation.

The marina basin is a no-wake zone. All vessels will operate at a speed that will reduce wake to the minimum possible. All vessels will operate the vessels within the CRM following federal and state regulations.

Garbage shall not be thrown overboard, but instead placed on authorized receptacles at the designated area.

Waste water discharges are forbidden within regulated waters and CRM basins. Only vessel with an operational and functional marine sanitation device will be allowed to discharge wastewater.

No discharges, (spilling, leaking, pumping, pouring, emitting, emptying, or dumping) of oil, gray water, flammable fluids, or any other substance that may or may not cause harm to the environment is permitted.

All refueling of vessels shall be performed as per USCG, EPA, and PR government regulations. Any spill shall be reported to the CRM service desk immediately. The vessel owner will be fully responsible for the cleaning expenses and fines that the Resort may incur.

All boats shall be insured against damage or loss that may be caused to the property of others with a minimum coverage as discussed by a member of a team.

Vessel will not be allowed to store supplies, materials, accessories, etc. on walkways, or catwalks and shall not construct, or install lockers, sea chests, or similar structures.

Performance of vessel repairs of any kind is limited to maintain the vessel seaworthy. Small cosmetic repairs could be performed upon approval by the Marina Manager.

Any slip, or dock change among CRM customers shall be pre-approved by the marina manager. No subleasing of mooring space is authorized.

Clothing or other laundry shall not be hung on rails, attached to stays, runs, masts, etc., or placed on docks.

The owner will be held accountable for the conduct and safety of his/her crew or guests at all times.

The CRM reserves the right to modify or make additions to any of the existing structures.

The resort reserves the right to demand written authorization from the vessel owner to allow the use of the vessel or to carry out repairs by third parties.

The Conquistador Resort reserves the right to admission to its property and to those facilities located within its property.

The CRM reserves the right to amend, modify, or add to these Rules and Regulations by written notice to the vessel owner effective at the time of their mailing and publication at the Marina.

Boat owners are responsible for being informed of weather forecasts and warnings and taking preventive measures to minimize damage to vessels and marina structures.

Past-due accounts shall be subject to rate charges.

Violation of the CRM or Resort’s rules and Regulations, disorderly conduct, depredations, or indecorous conduct by the patron, his/her crew, or guests that might create inconvenience or injure a person, cause damage to property or harm the reputation of el Conquistador Resort shall be cause for immediate removal from the marina of the vessel in question.

Emergency equipment at the dock is for emergency use only. In case of emergency please follow the marina team member's instructions.
