Resort Policies

We kindly ask our guests to refrain from bringing pets to the resort. While we love animals, we only accept ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) certified service dogs.

We have established the following no-smoking policy to ensure a clean, healthy, and enjoyable environment for all our guests. To promote a comfortable and safe atmosphere, smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor and outdoor areas of the resort, including but not limited to:

- Guest rooms
- Restaurants and bars
- Public areas, including lobbies and hallways
- Pools, Coqui Water Park, and Palomino Island
- Meeting and event spaces

Electronic cigarettes and vaping devices are also prohibited in indoor public spaces and outdoor areas such as restaurants, pools, Coqui Water Park, Palomino Island, and others.

We ask all guests to respect our no-smoking policy to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone. If you witness any policy violation, please report it to the front desk immediately.

While Puerto Rico is a safe destination, the safety of our guests and our employees is our main goal. For that reason, only registered guests are allowed in the resort. Outside vendors will not be allowed to enter the premises for food deliveries.  Any guest ordering food items from an outside vendor should make arrangements to pick up such items either at the establishment or at the resort's main gate.

Guests are not permitted to bring outside food or beverages into any public areas of the resort, including but not limited to restaurants, bars, lounges, pool, Coquí Water Park, Palomino Island, meeting spaces, and recreational facilities.

Special Dietary Needs: Guests with specific dietary restrictions or medical conditions may notify the server of such so they can notify the chef and make accommodations.

Resort Dining Options: We offer an array of dining options within the resort, including restaurants, cafes, and bars. Our culinary team is dedicated to providing delicious and diverse menu options to satisfy all our guests.

You can cancel your reservation without any penalty up to 72 hours before your arrival date. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the arrival date will incur a penalty equal to one night's room rate plus applicable taxes. Guests who do not show up for their reservation without prior cancellation will be charged one night's room rate plus applicable taxes. Advance purchase reservations are non-refundable and cannot be changed. No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations, changes, or no-shows for these reservations.

El Conquistador Resort encourages its guests to take personal videos or still photographs while enjoying their visit. All images and videos taken by guests and visitors are allowed so long as the photos and videos are used for a personal, non-commercial purpose. All photographs and videos should be taken from public viewing areas and with a hand-held camera (non-professional equipment).

El Conquistador Resort is private property and maintains a strict policy against the use of its grounds (all interior spaces, exterior grounds, pools, beach, etc.)  for unauthorized professional or commercial photography/videography purposes.

Drone Usage:
El Conquistador Resort is a private property and therefore restricts the usage of drones. The use of drones for surveillance, harassment, or any activity that invades the privacy of guests, staff, visitors, and others is strictly prohibited. Drones must not be used for commercial purposes without prior written approval from resort management.

Exceptions to this policy may be granted for special events or circumstances but must be approved in writing by resort management.
